August 2017 Market Update – Downtown San Diego Condo Market

There is a ton of good information from national economist and the director of the Xpera Group, Alan Nevin. Over the last several months, the average sales price in downtown has been trending upwards, while the average price per square foot has stayed consistent around $593/sf. One large jump we saw is the average days on market, which went from 26 days to 40. That is a large jump in time on market. The inventory has stayed consistent around just over a 3 month supply of inventory. Over the last 2 months, we have seen a drop in the list to sales price (%).
