December 2019 Market Update – Downtown San Diego Condo Market

September through November, we have hovered right around 50 sales per month. The number of new listings has declined by 34 listings from October to November and the number of active listings is also down by 17. Overall, inventory hasn’t declined as much as it typically does when going into the holiday season.

Market time seems to have dropped drastically, but this isn’t very accurate. It is very common for listings to be “expired”or “cancelled” and then brought back as a new listing. This resets the days on market and impacts the accuracy of the “market time” measurement.
